Sloane had the flu

Day 1

Taking a bath to lower the fever.

Well, we actually don't know what Sloane had but it sure seemed like the flu (despite a negative influenza test)! She had been sick for 6 days, not able to eat or drink much of anything the entire time. We finally had to take her to Children's Hospital downtown for IV fluids on Sunday. The fluids helped and when she came home she ate a little and drank some water. We are hoping she is in recovery and we can put this illness in the record books.
